This meetup will include both theory and practice.

We will cover the following topics:

🧠 Self-sabotage
What it actually is beneath the surface, along with an exercise to help you clarify your own patterns and explore how you might begin to stop sabotaging yourself in a specific area of life.

🌊 The transformational power of feeling the emotions you are avoiding

šŸ—£ļø The importance of expressing your emotions
Including optional ā€œhomeworkā€ you can do at home to implement what we cover.

šŸ›”ļø The ego, resistance, and inner blocks
We will explore how the ego may try to stop you as you move toward what you truly want, along with an exercise to help you prepare for those moments when resistance starts to appear.

šŸ’ Why affirmations often do not work — and what to use instead
Affirmations often do not work because the analytical mind, which acts as a kind of ā€œgatekeeperā€ to the subconscious, knows when something does not feel true. For example, repeating ā€œI’m a millionaireā€ or ā€œI’m living my dream lifeā€ may create resistance if your current reality clearly does not match those statements.
We will cover what I call ā€œadapted affirmationsā€: suggestions created in a way that gives the analytical mind nothing to argue against. These adapted affirmations are designed to bypass resistance and speak more directly to the subconscious. We will also do an exercise so you can learn how to create these suggestions for yourself and start putting them into practice.

šŸ” Coping mechanisms
We will look at what coping mechanisms are actually doing for you, and how you can begin to choose a different response the next time you notice yourself falling into a behaviour you no longer want. We will also cover an exercise designed to help program in the response you would prefer to choose.

šŸŒ€ Downward spirals
We will explore how you always have the opportunity to interrupt a downward spiral. Even though it can sometimes feel automatic, it is often an unconscious choice. You will do a private exercise to clarify your own triggers and begin programming in a more constructive response, so that the next time a familiar situation arises, you can respond in a way that supports what you actually want.
This workshop will include some theory, but it will also be practical. You will leave with concrete tools and exercises that you can continue practicing at home — and that can make a real difference if you implement them.

āš ļø A quick but important note:
I am not an expert, therapist, or psychologist. I am simply someone who has spent years searching for answers on how to navigate life better. This subject is my obsession, and I love sharing it with others.
That being said, I am not claiming to have mastered these things. I am still very much a student, with plenty left to learn. I have spent years failing (and therefore learning) and trying to implement these ideas — and as I have recently begun having more success with them, I have experienced significant changes in my life.

šŸ’ø Refund policy
If, for any reason, you feel the workshop was not worth the price you paid, I will gladly offer you a full refund. No explanation is required, though I would sincerely appreciate any feedback to help me improve future workshops.

šŸ“ Location
We’ll be located on the 7th floor of OBA. Please look for the sign that says ā€œInner-Alchemy.ā€ If you have any trouble finding us, don’t hesitate to message me here and I’ll be happy to help.

I look forward to seeing you there!
