Once a month, together with the cooperation of Rialto, we are happy to announce EXPATS MOVIE NIGHT: an event to get together with other internationals and watch recent foreign language films with English subtitles at the Rialto cinema
There will be a reserved area for the AIC group where gathering before the movie. Ask at the entrance where the meeting point is.
After the movie, we will move to Bar Boele to have some drinks and network.
WHERE📍: The meetings are at Rialto VU: a brand new innovative film theatre at the VU Campus. The host Karolina will be there beforehand and afterward to meet and greet and have a few drinks.
WHEN: Sunday 08, October. We meet from 16:30 in the AIC area and then the movie starts at 17:15.

THE MOVIE🎥: American romantic drama PAST LIVES.
🎬 PAST LIVES: South Korea, 2000: Na Young and Hae Sung, both 12 years old, are very good friends, perhaps with early romantic feelings. This comes to an abrupt end when she emigrates to Canada with her parents. Twelve years later, Na Young, who now calls herself Nora, studies dramaturgy in New York. Through the then-new Facebook, she reconnects with Hae Sung. They chat with each other, fantasise about meeting, but decide to let the contact fade anyway. Twelve years on again, Nora is now married to Arthur, Hae Sung announces he is coming to visit her in New York.
