What we’re about
The MLOps Community fills the need to share real-world Machine Learning Operations best practices from engineers in the field. While MLOps shares a lot of ground with DevOps, the differences are as big as the similarities. We needed a community laser-focused on solving the unique challenges we deal with every day building production AI/ML pipelines.
We’re in this together. Come learn with us in a community open to everyone. Share knowledge. Ask questions. Get answers.
You can check out our Slack and podcast that’s filled with tips and tricks to overcoming the common obstacles we’ve all hit in the real world. Find the solutions you need. Share, learn, and grow with us, as we work to bring standardization to the chaotic world of MLOps

20:00-21:00: Networking + drinks and bites 🍹🍴🎤 How to Over-Engineer Automatic Board Game Scoring with Computer Vision (Jordi Smit, Machine Learning Engineer @ Xebia)
I love playing the board game Cascadia, but the score calculations at the end always is to much effort for me. So, I decided to automate it using computer vision. Will the 60 seconds saved during each game one day overtake the many engineering hours? Most likely not bit the final application is very cool. During this talk, I will share my journey of building this computer vision application and the many valuable lessons and best practices I learned along the way.
Already curious about the results? Check out cascadia.jordismit.com🎤 ML workflows via Airflow: Do’s, Don’ts, and Lessons Learned (David Ávila, Machine Learning Engineer @ Picnic)
In this talk, I'll share real-world experiences I've had using Apache Airflow to build ML pipelines and even using it as the core for an ML Platform. We'll cover what worked, what didn’t, and some key tips for avoiding common mistakes. Whether you're new to Airflow or looking to improve your ML workflows, you’ll leave with practical insights you can apply right away.📋 Sign-up Instructions:
