Details

**Amsterdam.dev** is teaming up with DevOops, and once again, we're happy to be hosted by Datadog!

Join us for an evening of tech, talks, and connection!

Whether you're a seasoned dev, a curious newbie, or somewhere in between, this meetup is all about sharing ideas, solving problems, and sparking inspiration. We’re bringing together a community of tech enthusiasts to chat about what’s new, what’s next, and what’s just plain cool.

Expect great conversations, lightning talks, and a chance to meet people who love building, breaking, and fixing things as much as you do.

🎤 Speakers will be announced soon — stay tuned!
🍕 Snacks, drinks, and good vibes included.

First talk: Building Developer Experience through Open Source Programs and Policies - Ayodeji Ogundare (Adyen) 🎤

Open source is more than shared code—it’s a foundation for better software development. This talk explores how structured open source programs and well-crafted policies improve developer experience both within organizations and across open source communities.
Inside teams, open source workflows reduce friction, encourage code reuse, and speed up onboarding. Across communities, clear governance, licensing, and contribution models foster collaboration and build trust.

You’ll hear lessons from leading organizations where open source is central to their engineering and business strategy. We’ll cover how to design and maintain open source programs that improve tooling, drive collaboration, and contribute to business goals.
