Photograph the 2014 supermoon
Hosted by [Decommissioned]
Details
Come join us and photograph the closest supermoon of 2014. On August 10th the moon will experience its closest encounter with earth in 2014. As a result it will be the largest and closest full moon of the year. This year's closest and largest full moon is called: Green Corn Moon or Grain Moon.
This is a great opportunity for photographing our closest celestial body and share photography tips with fellow photographers.
We will meet at Museumplein, right next to the entrance to the underground parking lot on Van Baerlestraat. See the map for details: Meeting point (http://goo.gl/sOAlgC)
In the meantime here are some things to keep in mind:
Preparation material
We will have to get lucky with no clouds to photograph the moon. For those wanting to read-up and prepare themselves should we get so lucky, we recommend the eBook 'Nightscape: A Complete Guide to Photographing Under the Night Sky' (http://craftandvision.com/products/nightscape?mc_cid=c954f2b412&mc_eid=5386f86eb4) by David Kingham.
