Abstract Macro Photography

Details
For those wanting to create (or expand) their Shutterstock contributor portfolio, we thought we would organise a workshop focusing on the most popular photography search terms: 'Abstract' & 'Background'.
So let's have some fun in the Amsterdam botanical gardens and photograph flowers, plants and butterflies. Up-close, out of focus, zoom blur or any other creative photography techniques you can think of.
The best photo will win a great prize from Shutterstock !!!
The photo submitted must be abstract and suitable as a background image. You must of course have signed-up to try and become a Shutterstock contributor to have a chance at winning the prize. You don't have to already be accepted as a Shutterstock contributor, just registered.
Register in our photo club's group account here (if you haven't already):

More information and tips about becoming a contributor can be found on our website (http://amsphotoclub.com/shutterstock/).
Coffee and cake
After an hour or two of shooting, let's have coffee and cake in the Hortus Botanicus Cafe.
No macro lens?
If you don't have a macro lens, it is possible to order a very inexpensive macro/close-up filter for your lens. Your normal camera lens will then transform into a macro/close-up lens. Ready for extreme close-ups.

Note: Make sure you check the diameter (http://havecamerawilltravel.com/photographer/tell-diameter-lens) of your lens before ordering the filter.
