AUTOGENIC TRAINING CLASSES - 10th, 17th and 24th of June

Exercise 1

AUTOGENIC TRAINING is a form of meditation done while lying down.
It aims at releasing all physical, mental and emotional tension, giving you a sense of calm and balance that can benefit your emotional well-being and physical health.

The guided path begins with a preparatory relaxation exercise to focus on the present moment and establish a connection with your body.

I will then guide you through the first autogenic training exercise, to turn off the body's "fight/flight" mechanism and activate the restorative rhythms of deep relaxation, which positively and directly affect the autonomic nervous system.

At the end of the lesson, we will share what we experienced during relaxation and collectively process it.

I will also instruct you on how to practice the exercises on your own.
Through regular practice at home, you will be able to educate and condition your body to produce the same relaxation effects in those circumstances when you might want to: under stress, when in need of focus, and so forth.
