Medicine Guayusa Tea Ceremony and Handpan Sound Journey

You are invited for a medicine (functional) Guayusa Tea Ceremony and a lay-down Handpan Sound Journey on Saturday, November 11 from 15-17 at the beautiful yurt of Mahara, in the middle of a peaceful garden of Amsterdam. This is specially for curious souls and those who are interested to explore traditional and natural healing medicines around the world, in a sacred ritual setting for health benefits, deeper connection and self-healing with the sounds of handpan in harmony with nature.

We will work with sacred Guayusa tea. For indigenous tribes, Guayusa Tea has been a part of their tradition and wisdom keeping for over 2000 years. Guayusa is often celebrated for sharpening the mind’s focus, providing heightened awareness into consciousness and giving a sustained energy release. It’s rich in antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins and minerals – which can all work to balance overall wellbeing and body/mind.

With all the respect and gratitude for the traditions and our collective ancestry, I believe Tea and Plants has no border, it's so much in the process working with intentions. Nature is universal, so is a Tea Ceremony. I feel the strong call to share a fluid & Taoist Tea Ceremony with Guayusa tea plants, to connect with its spirit, to flow with the way of nature (Tao) through Guayusa, and co-created a sacred and safe space 💚 for entering a world of dreams (and reflective wishes) where ancient wisdoms can be felt, shared and passed on. Together, we wish to bring those profound moments and wisdoms into a more mindful daily lifestyle.

For the Tea Ceremony, Leila will present dried Guayusa tea leafs and guide you through a meditation that cultivates mindful process and fluid flow in a harmonious atmosphere that brings us together and improves our taste and senses, health and soul. After sipping the sacred tea mindfully, we will enter a deep, meditative silence together to encounter and communicate with our guides, bringing new visions and awareness for our lives. Handpan and other instrumental tunes by musician/DJ Leela will create a peaceful yet grounding atmosphere throughout and after the ceremony, taking you on a sound journey to dive in deeper.

This combination evolved from exploring ancient practices, the passion for mindful living and expanding our consciousness through plant medicine. We enjoy supporting each other and co-creating a healthy, mindful, creative and loving lifestyle. We will share Saturday together in a connected, safe and beautiful yurt space in harmony with nature surroundings. Aftercare, support and integration will be shared and discussed as well.
