🎨 Ankur’s Amsterdam-Zuid Drawing Meetup – First Event!

Welcome to the very first edition of Ankur’s Amsterdam-Zuid Drawing Meetup! Whether you’ve never picked up a pencil before or you’ve been sketching for years, you’re more than welcome to join us.

The idea is simple: spend a relaxed afternoon drawing, chatting, exchanging ideas, and getting inspired by one another. Bring whatever you’d like to work on—portraits, landscapes, architecture, animals, or even your own creative projects.

📍 Seating

Unfortunately, the venue does not accept table reservations. I’ll arrive a bit earlier to make sure we can grab around five seats together before everyone arrives.

✏️ What to bring

Please bring your own drawing materials:

• Sketchbook or drawing paper
• Graphite pencils
• Eraser
• Sharpener
• Colour pencils (optional)
• Pens, fineliners, charcoal, or any other art supplies you’d like to use

You’re also welcome to use your phone, tablet, or laptop as a reference for photos or tutorials.

😊 A few notes

• All skill levels are welcome.
• There’s no instructor—this is a relaxed, social drawing session.
• Feel free to ask questions, share tips, or simply enjoy drawing at your own pace.
• Please support the venue by ordering a drink or something to eat if possible.
