What we’re about
A english-speaking group for PHP Developers in and around Amsterdam. Our goal is to grow the local community, search for new developers and spread knowledge and resources.
Amsterdam is a very active technology center for the Netherlands, many companies and people from various countries have chosen this area to settle down and start their companies. PHP has a big role in this and for that reason we created a User Group focused on this area and in doing activities in english to acommodate all of these developers.
Come meet with us to stay up to date with the latest in PHP and its ecosystem as well as meeting new people and networking.

First talk: The Manychat Story: Scaling Facebook webhooks from zero to 25,000 requests per second with PHP
Every great platform starts with a small idea and grows into something extraordinary. In this talk, I'll share the inspiring journey of Manychat and how we scaled Facebook webhook handling from very humble numbers to a system processing 25,000 requests per second — all powered by PHP, all while operating on minimal resources. Whether you're working on a startup or managing a high-traffic system, this session will inspire you to see the full potential of PHP in scaling your own projects.
