Amsterdam Fill That DAM Sketchbook

Looking for a group of creative people to fill your sketchbook with?? Come to one of our drawing sessions! We'll meet a few times a month at various cafes or parks within Amsterdam to enjoy some light conversation and drawing. Sketchers of all levels are very welcome!

Bring your drawing supplies, meet new creatives, and enjoy some snacks and drinks. When the weather is nice we'll even go outside and do some observational plein air drawing together.

We kindly ask you to purchase drinks and/or food when we sketch at a café so that we will be welcome to return. It's difficult finding locations with enough space for our group that take reservations and we want to be sure to contribute to their business.

PLEASE NOTE THESE GROUP RULES:

1. No-shows who do not reach out to us will be removed from the group (one strike you're out). We get that things come up, so if you have a slot and you can't make it last minute, please REACH OUT TO US via message instead of just not showing up with no communication. The cafes we frequent have limited seating. If we reserve a large table but a number of people don't show up, it is possible we may not be able to reserve a table there again. Please keep this in mind and be considerate.
2. If you have a slot and can't come, please CANCEL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so that people from the wait list have time to plan to come. Preferably at least 24 hours in advance of the meetup. We understand that sometimes things happen last minute and you can't attend, but please try to cancel early, and reach out to us via message if you can't come last minute.
3. If you're on the wait list, please don't show up anyway. It's often hard on the restaurant to have extra people, hard on us as organizers to make it welcoming to everyone with the space available, and it means the cafe might not let us come back next time. If you are a group of two or more, each person needs to individually sign up to come. If you'd like to try your luck that there's a late cancellation, reach out to us first via message and we can let you know if there's room!
4. These meetups are a safe and welcoming space. Please help us keep it that way. Any sort of discrimination, harassment, or otherwise making others feel uncomfortable will not be tolerated.
