"What if you're a poultry farmer, but you're also vegan?"

The Vegan Poultry Farmer/De Vegan Veehouder is a documentary film that follows a Dutch poultry farmer and his inner conflict between ideals and reality. Is it good enough to create the most 'animal-friendly' and 'sustainable' poultry farm? Or does that merely help to uphold the system as it is? Can we do without animals in our global food system?

Location and time
This event will be held at Counter Amsterdam, Czaar Peterstraat 174, 1018 PX Amsterdam. We will meet there for vegan dinner starting from 18:00. After dinner, around 19:30, we will go to Pakhuis de Zwijger, Piet Heinkade 179, 1019 HC Amsterdam, to watch the documentary, at 20:00.

There are no fees to attend this Meetup. You will only pay for what you order at Counter. The tickets for the documentary at Pakhuis de Zwijger are free, and will be reserved, when signing up for this meetup.
