What we’re about
The Amtgard Kingdom of Westmarch comprises of 18+ groups in Northern California, Nevada and Hawaii.
Amtgard is a nation wide medieval / fantasy combat game, We use safe foam 'weapons' supplemented by a magic system, to chase each other down & joyfully whack each other every week. Open to ages 13 up (though usually people over 60 don't play - usually)
So stop playing WOW! Stand up from your table top game, leave behind your MMORPG, and have some good fun!

NOTE: The group also meets on Thursdays for fighter practice in Antioch; & on the 3rd Saturdays of every month they host a Arts & Sciences event in Old Pittsburg.

Amtgard is a sword and sorcery battle gaming system. We use boffer (foam) weapons to simulate sword fighting. Players can choose between 10 different classes. Examples are wizard, healer, warrior and such.
