### An Evening of 1980s Pop, Amateur Singing, and Questionable Fashion Choices – What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

On May 30th at 21:30, Tipografia do Conto in Porto will open its doors to what promises to be either an unforgettable night of musical nostalgia or an unforgettable cautionary tale — and frankly, we’re fine either way.
An international chorus of enthusiastic amateurs (the best kind) will gather to belt out 1980s pop classics, dressed as if they’d raided the world’s least promising vintage shops. Leg warmers and neon jackets are not compulsory, but strongly encouraged.
Guiding us through this glorious madness will be the brilliant Lizzie Deane — a genuine professional from London who has somehow agreed to lead this ragtag bunch. Lizzie has sung with actual legends like Boy George and Ed Sheeran, and now, in an inspiring act of generosity (or possibly poor judgment), she’s singing with us.
Come along. Sing, dance, laugh at us, laugh with us, maybe even laugh at yourself. Dressing up is optional; fun is inevitable.
### Uma Noite de Pop dos Anos 80, Cânticos Amadores e Moda Duvidosa – O Que Poderia Correr Mal?
No dia 30 de maio, às 21h30, a Tipografia do Conto, no Porto, abre portas para aquilo que promete ser uma noite inesquecível de nostalgia musical — ou então uma história para contar (com algum embaraço) — e honestamente, estamos preparados para as duas hipóteses.
Um coro internacional de amadores entusiastas (os melhores, diga-se) vai subir ao palco para dar tudo em clássicos dos anos 80, vestidos como se tivessem saqueado os armários mais duvidosos do planeta. Leggings fluorescentes e ombreiras gigantes não são obrigatórios, mas são altamente recomendados.
A comandar esta festa estará a incrível Lizzie Deane - uma cantora profissional de Londres que já atuou com lendas como Boy George e Ed Sheeran, e que agora, num gesto de coragem (ou inconsciência), aceitou liderar este grupo tão especial.
