Portraiture Photography Full Day Workshop
Details
Portrait Workshop – 28th September at our club meeting location, Crosscare (Full Day).
Join us for a full-day, hands-on portrait photography workshop at Crosscare on Saturday, 28th September. This workshop will provide an in-depth experience in working with studio lighting and capturing portraits in controlled conditions.
A retired professional portrait photographer will run the workshop.
In the morning session, we will focus on the technical aspects of studio setups, including exposure using a flash meter, colour balance with a grey card, and achieving both soft and hard lighting through practical projects.
In the afternoon, we will apply the morning's lessons with a series of portrait projects. Also we will do some post processing editing on laptops, so bring your laptop. A group discussion will follow, where we will review and evaluate the merits of each image.
Camera Requirements:
Your camera must have manual settings and be able to connect with a sync lead.
Features like remote firing and tethering to a laptop are also highly useful for studio portraiture.
Bring your own model if possible, and lunch. Tea/coffee will be provided.
