LITTLE CRANBERRY - LONG VERSION - SHORT NOTICE

Not a Pop Up Hike but almost! I am going to extend this as much as I can. We will explore every trail possible. Probably approaching eight miles.

Hopefully we will get a bucket load of snow and we can do this as a snowshoe next weekend!!

The Basics: Terrain is steep in spots and there are roots and rocks, mud, etc. Please wear appropriate footwear. We will meet at the trailhead parking lot on A street just past 37th. No parking pass is required. Plan on approximately 3 hours of hiking (slow to moderate pace). No restroom facilities.

Getting There: From Bellingham, Burlington, etc., take WA-20 west. Take a right on R Avenue (the first arterial entering Anacortes); turn left on 32nd, turn left on D Avenue, follow 37th around to A Avenue and just after the 37th Street bend look for the trailhead to the right.

If you cannot make the hike, and life happens, for sure, please change your RSVP as soon as possible, preferably not the same day. If you are on the waitlist, please remove yourself if you have decided that you are not interested in this hike. If you are on the waitlist and do wish to attend please monitor your Meetup account the day of the event as oftentimes there is some shuffling and you may find that you do have a spot! This is a fun welcoming group, and we want you to be a part of the good times!

Rain Policy: A hard rain cancels, showers do not. Watch Weather Underground the day before. If the forecast is over 50% rain for the time of the hike watch for a possible cancellation notice.

Leashed well behaved dogs are welcome.
