WiDS London @ Dataiku is an independent event that is organized by the WiDS ambassadors at Dataiku as part of the annual WiDS Worldwide conference organized by Stanford University and an estimated 200+ locations worldwide, which features outstanding women doing outstanding work in the field of data science. All genders are invited to attend all WiDS Worldwide conference events.
As part of the worldwide Women in Data Science community, the WiDS ambassadors at Dataiku invite you to the regional WiDS Dataiku @ London event on the 17th of May!
The day aims to present the work from brilliant women in the data science field, and to connect with a broad community of those interested in learning more about the latest developments in the field.
This year the WiDS London @ Dataiku event will focus on three main themes:
- AI in Healthcare
- Responsible AI
- AI for social and environmental impact
We hope to welcome you in person on the 17th of May at York Road, from 3 to 8pm, and connect over the wonderful work and discussions coming to live during the day thanks to the varied group of speakers.

Sigourney Waibel, PhD in Brain and Behaviour Lab (Imperial College London), Co-Founder of NOAH Analytics
Karrie Liu, founder of Hypatia Analytics, mathematician with 10+ years of experience in UK healthcare and life sciences

Oriana Medlicott, Senior Researcher at Fujitsu, a.o. focusing on AI Ethics; Podcast founder & host of Let's chat ethics
Lucie Audibert, Lawyer & Legal Officer at Privacy International
Kaitlyn Bové, Project management for an international project on AI

Mandeep Soor, Sustainable fashion tech founder, Bendi: traceability & sourcing of materials in fashion
Sophie Chauvet, PhD Researcher in information and communication science
