Lonneke Eijdems | Product Owner Data Science | Ahold Delhaize

Lonneke is a Data Science Product Owner at Ahold. Her focus is on the operations domain, in particular time series forecasting. She grew up in the south of the Netherlands (Venray), studied in the north of the Netherlands (Groningen), and lived in both Rotterdam and Amsterdam after her studies. In her spare time, she loves to do sports, such as hockey, crossfit, bouldering, and running.

Lonneke will share the lessons she learned while deploying data science products into production.

Kassandra de Jong | Analytics Translator | Transavia

Kassandra is 32 years old and lives in Rotterdam. Kassandra spends most of her spare time working out, playing basketball, boxing and kite surfing. Besides sports, she fills her evenings with salsa and bachata.

Kassandra studied at Erasmus University where she developed a strong interest in Data Science. After graduating, she decided to become a ML Data Scientist for a container terminal at the Rotterdam Port, where she took on two tasks. First, to create awesome models, and second, to educate the company on what Data Science is. What she realized after some time is that an “awesome model” isn’t enough if you want to be successful: you need the right people supporting you.

That’s how she came to understand the importance of stakeholder management. This is what drove her decision to switch to an Analytics Translator position at Transavia, a little over a year ago.

Kassandra is enjoying her time at Transavia and she is really excited to tell you more about what it is that she does exactly as an Analytics Translator and which challenges she faces on a daily basis.

Charlotte van Laar | Product Manager | Sympower (ex. KPMG)

Charlotte is an experienced product management professional with a strong drive to improve products that solve business problems and create value for users and society. Making an impact, introducing innovations, and bringing products to the next level is how she likes to spend her days.

She has been working within the data domain since she started her Master of Business Information Management at Erasmus University. Within different roles and organizations, she had to take on the challenge of bringing the business closer to the technical side to, for example, improve the organization’s services or promoting better decision-making. Within KPMG, this was in the capacity of a Data Management and Business Intelligence Consultant.

Currently, as Product Manager she leads the product vision and development of the new platform, that will enable the scaling of the organization by providing the companywide core business services.
