Join us for a screening of the first episode of our new web series, AI & Us: Fashion, followed by a fireside chat event focusing on AI’s potential impact on the fashion industry. Join Alex Metelitsa (Director of ML at Rent the Runway) and Emma Huang (Senior Data Scientist at Dataiku) as they dive into how putting AI into practice will shape the future of the fashion industry. We look forward to welcoming you in person at Dataiku in New York as we touch upon topics including garment science, AI-driven fashion recommendations, fit tests, A/B testing, and more.

Speaker Bios:
Alex Metelitsa is Director of Machine Learning at Rent the Runway where he is responsible for AI strategy and engineering delivery. Previously, he led data science teams at Spotify and the B2B startup Vivun. Before that, he built investment models at Bridgewater Associates and served as an economist with the U.S. Department of Energy. He holds a B.A in International Relations from Princeton University and an M.A. in Finance & Economic Policy from Columbia University.
Emma Huang is a data scientist at Dataiku with a background in math and economics. She has experience as a data engineer and specializes with big data and NLP techniques. After graduating with a degree in economics and mathematics from Occidental College in 2016, Emma has since been making waves in the data science field.
