About us
A parent–child community built on play, connection, and growth.
Anchor & Arrow is a new and evolving group, and part of the adventure is discovering what it will become! Right now, I’m gathering parents who feel called to create something meaningful with their kids — something playful, supportive, and rooted in genuine connection. I’m exploring interest to see what shape this community naturally takes.
This group may become a space for parents and their kids, fathers and their kids, or fathers and sons — I’m open to seeing where the need is strongest. The ideal age range for me is 9–13, but I’m also listening to what families in the community are looking for, so please reach out with any interest to start the discussion.
At its heart, Anchor & Arrow is about building a culture of warmth, love, and encouragement. A judgment‑free zone where parents step out of “serious mode” and get down on the floor, into the woods, or onto the field with their kids — connecting through play, curiosity, and shared experiences.
I’m imagining a community where kids:
• build friendships with other positive, grounded peers
• feel supported by adults who show up with kindness and presence
• learn confidence through hands‑on activities and adventures
• experience bite-sized, meaningful rites of passage as they grow into capable young people who contribute to their homes and communities
And where parents:
• rediscover the joy of play
• model emotional safety and connection
• create memories that last
• support one another in raising strong, compassionate kids
If this vision resonates with you — even if you’re not sure exactly what you’re looking for yet — you’re welcome here. Let’s explore and discuss how to build something beautiful for our kids together!
