Mellow Monday Runs

Recovery from the weekend! We’ll meet around town for 4-6 mile runs. We’ll plan on leaving a bit after 5:45 pm from the parking area.
This week let's meet at Goose Lake Park near the parking lot/building. We can run the singletrack and the wider ski trails.
Extra Info you don't need to read: This is being organized in large part to help facilitate more of a running community, and to help you meet other active people in the area. If you’re intimidated by the distance, or you think you might be too slow for one of these runs, feel free to comment. There’s a VERY good chance that this group speed is totally within your comfort zone, as long as you’re capable of running 4-6 miles in slightly hilly terrain without stopping. We tend to wait at major intersections just to make sure we’re all not getting lost, and we generally are always together. Those that are super fast are free to come, and take off anytime you’d like. Virtually everyone seems to think they need to get in shape for these group runs, and then come out and are surprised. These aren’t races (though you can turn it into one). Just trying to be accommodative for different speeds. If you feel intimidated by the numbers (if anyone even signs up), or the group setting, realize we are all pretty open to anything—if you want to come out and just be in a group, and listen to podcasts/music and not talk to anyone, that’s totally fine. If you want to talk a lot, that’s fine too. These events are a group effort, so please come out, please make people feel welcome, please give ideas if you have ways to improve these events, or if you really would like to help out, help lead some runs! Also, please keep in mind, I really like to let the group decide in the moment what we end up doing, and there’s definitely no specific agenda. We’re just here to get out.
