What we're about
The Art Club
A group for all the creative adults of Greater Manchester.
Absolute-beginners to experienced artists are welcome. The creative art club is an informal friendly group who enjoy the social side of arts and crafts. Ancoats Visual Arts offers peer-led Be Creative Wednesday sessions where members can relax, chat and be creative for 3 hours each Wednesday. From Easter 2019 there will be artist-led Art for Well-being Friday (https://www.creativeartcourses.org/art-groups-and-clubs/ancoats-visual-art/#more)classes in the morning, offering relaxed informal learning within a friendly supportive art studio.
Ancoats Visual Arts welcomes everyone who is interested in arts and crafts into the creative art club, no matter where in Greater Manchester you happen to live.
If you happen to work or live in Ancoats, Clayton, Beswick, Miles Platting or the Manchester city centre, then Ancoats Visual Arts will be the local creative art club for you to join.
The creative art club is open to all adults and we pride ourselves in being inclusive, friendly and supportive. The only criteria for joining is a passion for the visual arts and a willingness to support others.
The group is hosted and supported by Creative Art Courses (http://www.creativeartcourses.org/) at Hope Mill, Pollard Street.
Join us for creative arts and crafts sessions - either peer-led or artist-led - full of creative joy and creativity within a fully inclusive, relaxed, informal and social atmosphere.
It is FREE to join the Meetup group, with a minimal fee of £4.35 to attend each peer-led Be Creative Wednesday studio session. There is a high charge for the Art for Well-being Friday classes. Details are here. (https://www.creativeartcourses.org/art-groups-and-clubs/ancoats-visual-art/#more)
