You need a reasonable level of fitness and mountain walking experience. It normally starts between 07:30 and 08:00 and finishes late in the afternoon. It may contain paths with some exposure - see the description for more details. Always check the exact start times, the starting location and the route description that is included. This route is not guided. You are participating in a group of people who like to enjoy the outdoors. You are responsible for your own safety and have the appropriate insurance for mountain activities. The date can be moved in case of bad weather.

Description: This ascends the peak of Tristaina which is one of the six estrapagecs in the parish of Ordino. It also is the most difficult of the six. It also passes a number of beautiful lakes. The route ascends to the left into a neck for which a ridge is taken to the top. There are a number of rock scrambles as well as some exposed sections. The descent is via the front of the peak and is much easier than the ascent. The higher parts could be exposed to cold wind even in summer - bring appropriate clothing. Bring lunch and snacks.
Descripció: Pujem Pic de Tristaina que és un dels sis estrapagecs de la parròquia d'Ordino. També és el més difícil dels sis. També passa per diversos llacs preciosos. L'itinerari puja a l'esquerra fins a un coll pel qual s'agafa una carena fins al cim. Hi ha una sèrie de revoltes de roques així com alguns trams exposats. La baixada es fa per la part davantera del cim i és molt més fàcil que la pujada. Les parts més altes podrien estar exposades al vent fred fins i tot a l'estiu: portar roba adequada. Porteu dinar i berenar.
Parking: You need to pass the Arcalis barrier before 07:30 otherwise you need to pay at the bottom and pay for the gondola.
Aparcament: Cal passar la barrera d'Arcalis abans de les 07:30 en cas contrari cal aparcar a sota i pagar el telecabina.
