Difficult hike: Estrapagec 1: Pic de l'Estanyó

READ THIS FIRST: This type of hike is considered difficult, mostly have some form of path, and has more than 1000m of ascent. You need a reasonble level of fitness and mountain walking experience. It normally starts between 07:30 and 08:00 and finishes late in the afternoon. It may contain paths with some exposure - see the description for more details. Always check the exact start times, the starting location and the route description that is included. This route is not guided. You are participating in a group of people who like to enjoy the outdoors. You are responsible for your own safety and have the appropriate insurance for mountain activities. The date can be moved in case of bad weather.

Description: This ascends the peak of Estanyó which is one of the six estrapagecs in the parish of Ordino. If also passes a beautiful lake where a short rest can be taken. There is a section after the lake where people with vertigo could be affected. The higher parts could be exposed to cold wind even in summer - bring appropriate clothing. Bring lunch and snacks.

Descripció: Aquesta puja pel pic de l'Estanyó que és un dels sis estrapagecs de la parròquia d'Ordino. Si també passa un bonic llac on es pot fer un petit descans. Després de l'estany hi ha un tram on les persones amb vertigen es poden veure afectades. Les parts més altes podrien estar exposades al vent fred fins i tot a l'estiu: portar roba adequada. Porteu dinar i berenar.

Parking: You need to pass the Sorteny road entrance before 07:30 otherwise you need to pay a parking fee.

Aparcament: Cal passar l'entrada de la carretera de Sorteny abans de les 07:30 en cas contrari cal s'ha de pagar.
