Shift Happens: When You’re Doing Too Much - FREE Zoom every Monday!
Details
If life feels intense, overwhelming, or like you’re constantly in effort mode, this hour is a chance to slow things down and get some perspective.
This is not a lecture.
It’s not a therapy session.
And it’s not about fixing everything at once.
It’s a practical, grounded check-in to help you see where you are and what actually helps next. We offer this, because we do this, and it helps!
### What We’ll Explore
In this Shift Happens meetup, we’ll introduce a simple framework we use in our own lives and work called Burn the Bullshit.
We use fire as a metaphor, not because fire is bad, but because it’s powerful.
Think of a forest fire:
- Sometimes fire clears what no longer serves
- Sometimes it creates space for new growth
- And sometimes it needs time to settle before anything else happens
The problem isn’t fire.
The problem is staying in it too long.
Together, we’ll talk about how this cycle shows up in real life:
- Curiosity and readiness to do the work
- The intensity of actually doing the work
- The clarity that comes afterward
- And the integration, rest, and enjoyment that are often skipped
### What You Can Expect
- A short explanation of the Fire Cycle in everyday language
- A simple personal check-in to see where you are right now
- A practical exercise to help you choose an appropriate next move
- Space for reflection, accountability, and real conversation
You’ll also receive our $47 guide "Stop Being on Fire", which you can use during the meetup and as often as needed afterward.
### Who This Is For
This meetup is for people who:
- Feel like they’re doing a lot, but still feel tired
- Are interested in personal growth without constant intensity
- Want clarity without turning self-work into another job
- Are ready to live more of their life between the work
You don’t need any prior experience with Burn the Bullshit or the Fire Cycle.
Just bring yourself and a willingness to pause.
### The Intention
This is a weekly space for noticing patterns, making small shifts, and reminding ourselves that growth doesn’t have to feel like being on fire all the time.
Sometimes the most meaningful change starts with simply understanding where you are.
We open this group to 10 people for connected sharing, see you there!
