Abstract: Working with Android is not always easy. As the codebase grows lifecycle callbacks, threading and new api calls tend to bloat our components until you end up with a big bowl of spaghetti. In this talk, Viktor will explain how to implement Clean Architecture on Android in order to provide you as a developer with a framework for building maintainable, testable apps.

We'll start the evening with some beverages and snacks, and at 6:30 PM Viktor Nyblom will give a presentation about Reactive Clean Architecture on Android (see information below). After the presentation we will hang out and discuss impressions and thoughts. Anyone who is interested in or have any experience of Android Development is welcome. We look forward to see you there!

In this talk, Viktor will explain how to implement Clean Architecture on Android in order to provide you as a developer with a framework for building maintainable, testable apps.

You will learn how to structure your code in a way that makes it easy to add features, easy to integrate unit tests and easy to handle threading. Using this approach means splitting your app into modules which means you will also learn how to leverage gradle to improve your apps build time. Finally, you will learn about how to migrate your existing code base to this architecture.
