Android development and Android Open Source Project

Details
Hey peeps!
It's finally happening!
Our next meetup is here.
For the first meetup in ages, we are bringing two great talks this time.
Our first talk is going to be about the Android Open Source Project (AOSP). Our speakers - from Navico - will have a talk on how they use ASOP to get the best out of their hardware to provide an optimal user experience in a challenging nautical environment.
And for the second talk, we will have Nic bringing us up to date and the latest news from the Android Tech landscape, with highlights from the latest version of Android, Flutter, libraries, and tools.
More about our speaker:
Nikita Pustovoi, Paul Leslie and Nic Tolentino
Nikita is a software developer working on Navico’s Android product line. Nikita has worked on Android since KitKat (Android 4.4), and in his spare time he likes to explore & do experiments in AOSP / LineageOS. Nikita enjoys digging behind the scenes on what is going on in Android.
Paul Leslie is the Software Development Manager at Navico, and is learning more about Android and Android software development.
Nic Tolentino is a Development Manager at Trade Me and GDG Auckland Manager as well as accomplished Android developer.
Please note:
We will be limiting the number of attendees for this event. All attendees must scan in. We will be managing people coming through the security gates.
In the event of a lockdown we will be making this an online event. We will modify the event and send out messages.
Our lovely sponsors:
Big thanks to Trade Me, JSA and Navico.
