Developing for Honeycomb on the Motorola Xoom Tablet

Details

This is going to be a technical talk about developing android applications for Honeycomb on the Xoom Motorola tablet, given by Anna Schaller, a Motorola Android Technology Evangelist.

This featured presentation on developing for Android 3.0 on Xoom will begin at 7 PM.

Before that, we'll have general announcements at 6:30 PM, and around 6:45, we'll have Meenakshi "Meena" Ramamoorthi give us a quick ten minutes presentation about "Family Connect", an hybrid Android/Telephony application her team started during Android DevCamp three weeks ago.

By the way, this coming Tuesday March 29th (http://www.sfandroid.org/events/16584764/), the San Francisco Android User Group is also having an Honeycomb-related talk, but on Google TV and given by Logitech.

And for those of you that have friends that are just learning Android Programming, I'll be raffling off two free tickets to my paid class (http://www.androidbootcamps.com/events/15318947/) happening this Saturday April 2nd. This is going to be a four hour class around noon time. The only pre-requisite is that the student knows (or has learned) at least one modern programming language, and that language doesn't have to be Java (we'll be going over some of the Java syntax and concepts in class).
