Kotlin + Android: Test-Driven Development & Meta Programming

Details
This month once again we will be joining forces with The Chicago Kotlin Users Group for a great night of Kotlin and Android at the GrubHub office.
The pairing is natural. Kotlin makes Android easier and more enjoyable to write. The Chicago User Group meet normal on the second Tuesday of the month. They are a great group, you can learn more here:

This month:
Meta Programming with Couroutines / Jetpack - Mark will lead us into the internals of his open source project to discuss how he implemented retrofit/moshi with Kotlin
Android: Test-Driven Development - Victoria Gonda will go over the basics of TDD, how you can apply it at varying levels in an Android architecture, and what steps to take if you’re working with legacy code. You should walk away from this talk with the tools you need to get started exploring practicing TDD on your own.
Victoria Gonda's talk draws from the new book https://store.raywenderlich.com/products/android-test-driven-development-by-tutorials
It's going to be a great night!
Please RSVP and Join us! Eat some pizza, have a soda or a beer and meet some new faces from the Chicago tech community.
See you there!
