What we’re about
This is a social group for English-speakers, aimed at outings to go and see English-language talks, events, and general life-of-the-mind stuff in Budapest, focused on culture, ideas, politics, civilisation, philosophy and journalism.
You could be brand new here, or you could have been here 30 years.
You could be a Hungarian who speaks English, or an English who speaks no Hungarian. Or even Chinese... (but speaks quite good English).
The important point is that the culture consumed is itself anglophone, and generally pretty high-brow.
It's aimed to be a friendly, casual, semi-regular space to engage with ideas.
