May 18 MT KEIRA This walk, combining the Ken Ausburn and Mt Keira Ring tracks, starts near the University of Wollongong and climbs Mt Keira through the heavily vegetated foothills of the escarpment and includes ironbark subtropical rainforest and great views of the coastal plain. Swamp wallabies are sometimes seen. Meet at the corner of Robson's Rd and Northfields Ave, Wollongong Botanical Gardens (near the Uni. and off the Mt Ousley Rd. (7 km, medium/high)
