Our first speaker named Manfred Steyer, will be having a presentation titled, "Tackling huge long-living Angular-Applications: Monorepos, Strategic Domain Design, and Microfrontends." Our next speaker will be Daniel Gutierrez Diez, who has a presentation titled, "Custom Applications, Same Codebase, in Angular."

Spotlight Talk #1: "Tackling huge long-living Angular-Applications: Monorepos, Strategic Domain Design, and Microfrontends."

Presented by Manfred Steyer

This session looks at a solution provided by Strategic Domain-Driven Design. Using an Angular-based case study, we investigate the idea of the ubiquitous language and the bounded context, sub-domains, and context mapping. Building on this, you will learn how to implement these ideas for Angular using a monorepo. We also discuss approaches for reducing coupling between the specific parts of our monorepo and how the idea of microfrontends fits in. Manfred Steyer is a trainer, consultant and programming architect with a focus on Angular. He is also a Google Developer Expert (GDE) and Trusted Collaborator in the Angular team who writes for O'Reilly, the German Java Magazine, and windows.developer. By the end, you will have a technical solution and appropriate methodology to build sustainable Angular solutions.

Spotlight Talk #2: Custom Applications, Same Codebase, in Angular

Presented by Daniel Gutierrez Diez

In this session, Daniel will be talking about how to create custom applications using the same code base. Mechanisms like configuration of entry points, services implementation, angular projection and custom components creation will be also explained! Daniel Gutierrez Diez comes from Spain and he has been living and working in Germany for several years. He is currently working as Lead Software Engineer at FactSet in Frankfurt and his current focus is Angular and NodeJS.

If you have not yet filled out our member survey, please take the time to do so, so we can adjust the coming meetups to your expectations: https://goo.gl/PVXBK1

Also, courtesy of @frontend_rm this talk will be recorded and available to watch online after the meetup! Thanks, guys!

We are currently looking for speakers for future Angular Meetups. There is no better place to showcase your projects than in front of an encouraging and supportive group. If any of you are interested or are not sure about how to present your ideas, feel free to contact the organizers!

*Quick note: If you are interested in brushing up on your Angular skills for the new year, Manfred Steyer is also going to be presenting at the Advanced Angular: Enterprise-Anwendungen und Architektur workshop in Frankfurt. The event runs three days from the 10th of December until the 12th, and some of the topics include, "Angular 9: What's New?," "Modern and Flexible Angular Architectures with Angular Ivy," "Microfrontends with Angular." In this interactive seminar you will learn from Manfred on how to develop large and robust enterprise applications with Angular. If you are interested in attending, Manfred has kindly offered this group a 10% off promo code for attending the event; just use the code "ngFrankfurt"

Hope to see you all there!
