"Stop reinventing the wheel - use Angular CDK" by Nikita

Lots of Angular applications contain common components and logics - accessibility, floating components, tables, steppers, drag and drop, and so on. But how can we create them with ease?

Using the library - good idea, but how to customize it? What if it has no appropriate functionalities? How to style it properly? Is it easy to integrate?

Building from scratch - well, reinventing the wheel is always fun! However, it’s a really time-consuming approach.

Angular CDK Solves that issue. Angular CDK stands for Component Development Kit. It’s a set of tools that helps you build more robust Angular applications faster.

Today, I’ll open the veil and you’ll learn:

What is Angular CDK and how it can help you build your apps faster!
What modules Angular CDK consists of
About common behaviors like a11y or drag and drop

Library is a collection of common components, services, directives, pipes etc. that can be easily shared with multiple angular applications.

For example, We can have a console logging library, UI component library, API Services library etc.

What is the purpose of a library ?
Create an angular library from scratch
Test the library in local angular application
Publish it to NPM
