We're really excited to be back with an in-person "Evening of Angular" kindly hosted and sponsored by Metro Bank. We have a great lineup of speakers with the evening kicking off with an opportunity to catch up and network with the Angular Community in London - with food and drink!

A big thank you to Alex Cotelin and Metro Bank for organising and hosting this event.

AGENDA

6:00 pm Doors open - Networking / Food
6:55 pm Welcome
7:00 pm What's new in v14? with Emma Twersky
From typed forms and standalone components to new primitives in the Angular CDK (component dev kit), Emma will share how the feature-packed version 14 makes Angular more powerful.
7:40 pm Is your Component Ready for Strict mode? with Stephen Cooper
With strict mode enabled by default, we must acknowledge that there is nothing more tiresome than using a component that is poorly typed. As we develop our components we must consider the implications of our Input types for developers that have strict mode enabled. The key point: just defining the Input types isn't enough to avoid type failures.
8:10 pm Break
8:20 pm Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD) the Metro way with Hafeez Rehman
When a Hybrid process is used for a repeatable cycle of BDD > TDD > DEV > TEST and Back to BDD again it’s called ATDD. At Metro Bank we use our own Mandated model of ATDD in some partial isolations and some custom automation processes. This process goes hand in hand with JIRA XRAY & Cucumber Plugin
8:50 pm Renaming Angular Components with Tom White
9:00 pm End

There will be a live stream of the event. Please only RSVP if you are attending in person. Places are limited so please register as soon as possible.
