Onwards to Angular Meetup #14!

Our next Angular Meetup is going to be focused on some advanced topics. We'll be presenting two different 'mini-workshops', as well as opening the floor for the community to showcase the cool things you've been working on! We had a couple of people request to demo; so this is a cool change that we're excited to try out. Thanks to everyone who submitted the survey!

Here's the agenda:

6:00 - Grab some Sushi & Appetizers (sponsored by RamenBar Philly!) and meet other Angular developers in the area!

6:30 - Serverless Fullstack Architecture (by Petrell Vereen)

This presentation will cover creating a basic full-stack serverless typescript app with angular, nestjs, typeorm, and MySQL/Firebase. Topics include streaming data into a SQL backend using rxjs and firebase, performance, overview comparison of different serverless options and technologies

7:00 - Mastering Rxjs with Firebase (by Claudio Del Valle)

This presentation will provide an overview of advanced rxjs patterns for the angularfire2 library. Come prepared to learn!

7:30 - Present em' if you got em'!

At 7:30 we'll be opening it up to the community to present projects you are working on. We'll be keeping it to about 10 minutes a piece; so please be concise and focus on tips, tricks, and cool things you can share with the group that you've learned in your angular journey.

To showcase your project, please **email me in advance jedi@openforge.io with your topic** so we can assign a time.

8:00 - Hack away & try new things!

If you have a project that you're working on and need help; or want to try something new that you've learned at the meetup; this is the time to code with your peers. We have the room till 9 p.m.
