# Micro-Frontends with Angular Elements by Lukáš Fryč
Angular Elements is an Angular Labs project that made it in its preview version to Angular 6. Micro-Frontends, on the other hand, are a concept known better as Microservices, just extended to frontend technologies. What do those two have in common? Come see at this partly theoretic, partly motivational, partly demonstrative talk.
Lukáš Fryč is Lead Frontend Engineer at Exponea, Google Developer Expert, speaker, ngBeer Bratislava/Brno co-organizer
# Structural Directives in Angular by Vojtech Mašek
Structural directives are a key part of Angular everyone should be familiar with. They are responsible for manipulating DOM through adding, removing or changing the elements. Even if you have never written a structural directive yourself, you have probably been using *ngIf and *ngFor in your templates pretty often.
In this talk we will go from basics to understanding the inner details, it should help everybody understand the concept and encourage you to write your own (structural) directives.
// Talk will be based on my blog post covering the same topic https://itnext.io/angular-structural-directives-b54ea21b39a7
Learnings / Take Aways: Deeper understanding of structural directives; Context exposure; Usage of template ref and view container ref

------------- General Info ---------------
The Angular Vienna Meetup is dedicated to people interested in the JavaScript framework Angular. We welcome everybody from beginners to Angular ninjas! If you'd like to present a recent project or talk about any other Angular-related topic, add your proposal using the comments form or by sending us a mail.
We also always look for sponsors for drinks and food. This is a good opportunity to reach 1000+ members of this group that receive the meetup announcement. You then can also present your company or pitch you project to an average audience of 60+ people.
