✅ Angular Query & NGRX Signal Store: A Symbiotic Relationship by Tomasz Ducin
NGRX Signal Store is a completely new approach to managing state in Angular applications. It's commonly known that Angular's future lies in signals - but many people are stuck in whatever has been done for many years, and so they carry on with NGRX - the old one, rxjs-based, and often overcomplicate their frontend solutions.
How is NGRX Signal Store different from its rxjs-based predecessor? Can you integrate the old state management solution with new ones? Finally - is it a good idea? What architectural principles to follow?
In this talk we'll get familiar with the mechanics of NGRX, its technical aspects, tradeoffs, comparisons and how it applies to our daily work and projects.
Tomasz Ducin - Independent Consultant, Architect, Developer & Trainer.
Experienced in both frontend and backend. JavaScript expert, passionate about programming, involved in the industry since 2007. Ex-theater actor, probably addicted to coffee and certainly addicted to listening to music.
✅ Don’t Do Monorepo by Jakub Pawlak
Monorepos — big tech giants like Google and Facebook are using them. But should you? In this talk, I’ll challenge the hype around monorepos and share insights from my experience working with Nx. I’ve seen firsthand how the promise of simplicity can lead to unexpected complexities. Along the way, I’ll reveal three critical pitfalls that often go unnoticed until it’s too late. These are issues you won’t find in the docs—and they can derail your team’s productivity if you're not prepared. But don’t worry, I’ll also provide a few crucial hints to help you navigate these hidden dangers.
Jakub Pawlak – Programmer and saxophonist. Frontend developer on the platform team at BEC Poland, where he tackles the challenge of embedding microfrontends across multiple applications simultaneously. Co-host of the YouTube channel Subiektywny Frontend, where he shares knowledge and experiences from a developer’s perspective in a casual format. In his free time, he’s the co-founder of the paintball field “paint it” near Warsaw.
