On this edition, powered by EPAM Romania, we will welcome 2 special guests: Ovidiu Sutac - Director, Country Head EPAM Romania and Francesco Leardini - Senior Software Engineer & Angular trainer @ Trivadis!

Presentation #1: Insights & Beyond by Ovidiu Sutac, Director, Country Head EPAM Romania

Abstract: Join Ovidiu in his keynote speech to get to know some insights on how we invest in capabilities and platforms and help our customers thrive in a market challenged by the pressures of digitization. We help them pivot and adapt to a fast changing and sometimes very unpredictable, global environment. Our teams work together to create solutions that achieve meaningful, sustained impact for businesses, their employees and customers.

Bio: Ovidiu Sutac, Director, Country Head of EPAM Romania is an accomplished leader with a solid background based on his 25 years of experience in software development.
With over 20 years of experience in management, Ovidiu is a driven entrepreneur, highly experienced in running own business and corporate, being part of multinational company as well as starting up a few companies from inception until maturity.

Presentation #2: Angular and Progressive Web Apps (PWAs)

Abstract: Progressive Web Applications are the state of modern web solutions. With the proper caching strategy, it is possible to drastically improve the overall performance and provide data even without a network connection. In an increasingly mobile-first world, optimising the time to load web pages can be our business's success. In this presentation, we'll focus on ensuring that our apps are fast, native-like, and with modern tools like Angular and Cloud Firestore able to provide a truly seamless experience to our users.

Bio: Francesco Leardini works as senior software engineer and Angular trainer at Trivadis. He is enthusiast about Angular, PWAs, modern web and always looking for new interesting ways to combine them in his projects. He also loves to share what he learned talking to international conferences and local meetups. When not busy developing, he likes hiking in the Swiss Alps and attempting to take the best photos he can.
