Getting Started with TypeORM for NestJS by Sean Ramocki

Learn how to jump into action with a simple to implement ORM (Object-relational mapping) with advanced applications using TypeORM and rapidly meet your business needs. TypeORM is a cutting-edge JavaScript based ORM that has a wide variety of support across platforms and RDBs/DDBs. In this talk, I will walk you through setting up a TypeORM setup for PostgreSQL with NestJS (an open-sourced web development framework for server-side rendering). I will model a real-world business scenario with examples of REST API business logic, how to write basic unit tests, and finally how to quickly migrate data both through ORM generated files and through the framework itself.
