Talk #1: NG ENTERPRISE - Scaffolding A scalable angular app with NGRX, by Thomas Horvath
Get to know your state management! Learn about different NGRX patterns, best practices & examples that enables you to scale your app with ease.
Thomas Horvath (https://twitter.com/CriticalPix) is a Lead Front End Engineer from Dublin, Ireland. When AngularJS came out, he fell in love with JavaScript again and never looked back since. When he's not working, he likes to share his Angular adventures with other developers. Got a question about Angular? Feel free to ask him, apparently he ain't scared of em'!
Talk #2: ANGULAR INTERNALS, by Eamon O'Tuathail
We take a whirlwind tour of the Angular source tree, to discover how its many moving parts mesh together beneath the API to actually make Angular perform so well. Advanced Angular application developers will greatly benefit from understanding how the framework operates internally, as it helps in areas such as optimisation, debugging, custom extensions and future evolution.
Eamon O'Tuathail (https://www.linkedin.com/in/eamon-o-tuathail-2309a3/) works for Clipcode (http://www.clipcode.net) where he provides specialist Angular training & consulting. He has written a detailed guided tour of the Angular source tree (http://www.clipcode.net/training/clipcode-source-tour.pdf).
Eamon has worked across Europe as a software engineer, technical architect, project manager and trainer on projects covering cloud-based storage, engineering management systems, eCommerce portals, protocol design, large multithreaded high-throughput financial messaging, X.509 Certification Authority, aerospace visualisation, seismic imaging and lots more.
Talk #3: Sharing Code Between Web and Mobile Native Apps, by Sebastian Witalec
NativeScript has opened up a whole new world to Angular developers: the ability to share code directly between your web and native iOS/Android applications. Which is awesome! But, just because you can share code across multiple platforms, doesn’t mean that you necessarily should.
In this talk We'll first take a look at what NativeScript makes possible from a code sharing perspective. We'll build a few Angular components and use them both in the browser and on mobile devices. Then we'll take a step back and look at the same code from a pragmatic, maintenance-oriented perspective. Come for practical tips & tricks on sharing code across multiple development environments.
Sebastian Witalec (https://twitter.com/sebawita) is a Technical Evangelist for Progress who specialises in Angular and NativeScript. He loves working on both serious and fun projects and one day he will use his roboarmy to conquer the world.
