TypeScript Vs. ES6

TypeScript is a free open source programming language that was developed on top of JavaScript. The code we write in TypeScript is transpiled into JavaScript. TypeScript's main added value includes its optional static typing and its class-based object-oriented capabilities. TypeScript can be used both on the server side and on the client. During the past two years TypeScript popularity has significantly grown and it has become the most popular programming language when it comes to software development using the Angular 2 framework. During this session we will overview the differences between writing code in TypeScript and writing code in ECMAScript 2015 (AKA 'ES6') and overview the capabilities TypeScript provides us on top of ES6.
