Lace up your boots and join us for a day in one of Europe’s most beautiful urban forests.

We’ll walk from Brussels through the heart of the Sonian Forest, ancient beech trees, soft light, good company, all the way to the Château de la Hulpe.

12 kilometers.
No rush.
Just good rhythm and open air.

Along the way, I’ll share a few stories about Ernest Solvay, who used to walk this very route regularly around 1900, between his Brussels offices and his castle. Same path, different century.

A warm cup of tea and a fresh home made lemon cake awaits at the finish line for those who’d like one. (Please save 25cl of water for the tea)

And for those who want to extend the day, the Fondation Folon is right there, a beautiful way to close the walk.

Getting back is easy: bus 366 runs regularly to Ixelles/Flagey (3€, ~20 min ride).
Departures at 17:07, 17:47 and 18:37, drop you right at the place of departure or all the way to Place Flagey.

All levels welcome.
Bring water, a snack, and comfortable shoes.
