Protest the Ocala "Shrine Rodeo" – Saturday-August 31 (2nd day)

Details
Join us to raise the consciousness of Central Floridians about the cruelty of rodeos and related events. More and more Americans are becoming aware of just how cruel these events are for the animals forced to participate. The horses, bulls, steer, and calves suffer broken ribs, backs, and legs, torn tails, punctured lungs, internal organ damage, ripped tendons, torn ligaments, snapped necks, and agonizing deaths.
We'll be outside of the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion event location and simply show our signs to occupants of vehicles entering the event to understand what cruelty is rodeo. As we exercise our First Amendment rights, this will be a peaceful and non-confrontational event, and all ages are welcome.
Please make and bring a large sign on a stick or pole with a short (1-5 word) anti-rodeo message. We will have an extra sign if you cannot bring your own.
