We hope you and your rescue dog (or an adoptable dog) can meet us tomorrow, Feb 13th, to walk down Ventura Blvd for our HAVE A HEART. ADOPT 'Valentine's Rescue Dog Walk & Adoption'.

The walk will be led by actress, "Twilight vampire," and Best Friends national spokesperson, Rachelle Lefevre along with Jamie Thomas King from Showtime's "The Tudors" and "Mad Men," and their two rescued dogs, Jack Sprat and Mama Bear.

Also leading the walk will be Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa joined by journalist, actress, and author Lu Parker and their adopted dog, Monkey.

Please be at Sweetharts (13704 Ventura Blvd, Sherman Oaks CA) no later than 12 noon when Rachelle and the Mayor will welcome the walkers and introduce the rescue dogs who stole their hearts!

A shuttle will be available to take dogs and people back to Sweetharts from Maxwell Dog (the end of the walk), or to pick them up from the 1 mile point across from Ralph's on Ventura. The shuttle will be running for the first two hours of the event. If you have a friend/colleague who is participating, please coordinate with them where each of you will park. Perhaps one car can park at Maxwell Dog and the other at Sweetharts and you can shuttle each other to the start and finish lines. PLEASE be mindful that parking can be difficult, so leave at least a 30 minute cushion.

Looking forward to seeing/meeting you all!
