Hi! My name is Jane and I work at  the Okefenokee Humane Society in Waycross, GA. We are required to downsize by HALF in order to accommodate a government run animal control, which will be beginning in mid-July. We've been given an extension on our deadline due to the July 4th holiday weekend, so we'll have these guys for one more week. I've sent pleas to hundreds of rescues, but only 3 dogs and no cats have been saved. Plus, more animals have come in since the initial pleas went out.
