Protest Týr-Whale Killers in NYC

The band Tyr, from the Faroe Islands, is playing in NYC, on September 5th. This band openly endorses the hunting, and slaughter of pilot whales in the Faroes, the hunt is known as the grindadrap, or grind. Tyr even goes so far as to include the savagery in their lyrics.

During the months between May and October, hundreds of innocents will be driven into shallow waters to be brutally slaughtered, under the guise of “tradition”. The blood of the captured pilot whales will stain those waters bright red. Whole families including, mothers, fathers, youngsters, and even pregnant whales will be slaughtered. These are crimes against nature!!!
Please join us as we hold this demonstration against Tyr to tell them they are NOT WELCOME in NYC!!
