Attention all cat & animal advocates, THE CATS NEED YOUR HELP!

As you may or may not know the Town of North Hempstead is the ONLY TOWN IN LONG ISLAND without a cat shelter. Cats are multiplying, suffering and dying in alarming numberson our streets.

IF YOU WANT TO HELP THE SAVE THE CATS, PLEASE CALL THE TOWN COUNCIL.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO LIVE IN NORTH HEMPSTEAD TO CALL.

When you call feel free to express your dissatisfaction with the terrible situation facing the cats.

Suggested script:

“Councilmember, as a constituent of yours in the town of North Hempstead I was quite surprised to learn that our animal shelter does not accept cats. We are the only town on Long Island with no cat shelter. In addition, our trap neuter return program is woefully inadequate. I immediately urge the town board to expeditiously do the right thing and institute immediate plans with the requisite funds to solve these horrific problems. Thank you for your time.”
