Peaceful Protest of Pig Scrambles at Waterford (ME) World's Fair

It is fair season in Maine and unfortunately this means a few pig scrambles. Join Maine Animal Coalition in peacefully protesting pig scrambles at the Waterford World's Fair this weekend. (Waterford is in Oxford County, south of Bethel.) See www.waterfordworldsfair.org

There will be three pig scrambles at the "Show Ring", each with a different age category for the kids participating. Friday the pig scramble will start at 5 pm. On Saturday the pig scramble will also be at 5 pm. And on Sunday the pig scramble will be at 10 am.

Bring a poster and look for others holding signs. We will be at the SHOW RING at least a half hour before the scrambles start.
