Anime Screening 7/12: You can(not) re:boot

Anime has come a long way. So much so, that many of our beloved series have been reimagined and remade. We'll sample some of the classics and their next-gen counterparts in a then-and-now experience!
Titles will include, but not be limited to:
Fruits Basket – From quirky rom-com to emotional powerhouse. (Old-gen: “Awkward hugs and comedy.” Next-gen: “I’m crying and I don’t know why.”)
Rurouni Kenshin – (The hits are harder, the hair is shinier, and Kenshin still says “oro?” like it’s 1996.)
Shaman King
Sailor Moon
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – (Old-gen: “Cool swords and yelling.” New-gen: “Cool swords, yelling, AND trauma.”)
Trigun Stampede – Vash still can’t aim, but now he dodges bullets in 3D. And... yeah, I wasn't actually feeling this one. But it's still on the table.
Bring a dish to share as usual and get comfy.

THIS WILL ALSO BE THE LAST SCREENING WE HAVE AT POOCHIE'S, AS MARY HAS SOLD HER BIZ AND WILL BE OUT OF STATE BY AUGUST
