Welcome anime and manga lovers far and wide! This group is for anyone who wants to build real connections and friendships through a shared passion for Japanese pop culture. Whether you are a local, an expat, or someone newly moved to the area, this group is all about creating a relaxed, low-pressure space to geek out together under the sun.

While our primary focus is Japanese, Anitalk Station is a truly multilingual hub. We express our love for anime and manga using English, French, and whatever our members' native languages may be!

🎯 Our Goal
Textbooks are great, but the best way to learn and connect is through what we love. Our goal is to break down language barriers and make socializing easier by using anime and manga as our "universal language." We want to create a welcoming "station" where people from different cultural backgrounds can cross paths, share their favorite series, and find lifelong otaku friends.

👥 Who should join?
All skill levels—both in anime knowledge and language proficiency—are welcome! This group is for you if:
You are a passionate fan of anime, manga, or games and want a space to talk about your favorite characters or latest watches.
You want to practice speaking Japanese, English, or French in a casual, real-world setting.
You are looking to expand your social circle and meet open-minded, international friends outside your usual routine.

🌳 What we do at our events (How it works)
We host casual, in-person gatherings in beautiful local parks and green spaces, bringing together a vibrant group of up to 20 people.
To make sure socializing is easy and everyone gets a chance to have meaningful conversations (without getting lost in a huge crowd), we split into smaller, cozy picnic circles of 4–6 people spread across the grass. We also mix the groups halfway through so you can meet even more friends!

Bring your friends or come alone, all nationalities are welcome!
Let's meet up at 7:30 pm on Sunday, May 31st for an apéro/picnic on the riverside just across île Saint-Louis (Quai de la Tournelle). Bring your drinks and something to eat and let's talk about your favorite anime and manga together! The weather is supposed to be amazing...or at least we hope it will be : )

📍 Directions & How to find us:
We'll be down by the river around 53 quai de la tournelle! Look at the arrows on our map (click the link). We will have a great view of Notre Dame. We will be holding an American Flag to help you spot us, so just keep walking towards Notre-Dame until you find us. Don't hesitate to come towards us and say hi!

Ce groupe s'adresse à tous ceux qui souhaitent nouer de vraies amitiés autour d'une passion commune pour la pop culture japonaise. Que vous soyez d'ici, expatrié ou fraîchement arrivé en ville, notre objectif est de créer un espace détendu et sans pression pour partager notre passion commune, sous le soleil.

Bien que notre focus principal soit le japonais, Anitalk Station is a truly multilingual hub. Nous partageons notre amour pour les animés et les mangas en japonais, en anglais, en français, et dans toutes les langues natales de nos membres !

Notre Objectif :
Nous voulons briser les barrières linguistiques en utilisant les animés et les mangas comme "langue universelle". Une véritable "station" où des personnes de cultures différentes se croisent, échangent sur leurs séries préférées et deviennent des amis de longue date.

Déroulement de nos événements :
Nous nous réunissons en plein air pour des rencontres conviviales pouvant aller jusqu'à 20 personnes. Pour faciliter les échanges, nous nous répartissons en petits cercles de pique-nique de 4 à 6 personnes sur l'herbe (avec changement de groupe à la mi-temps !).

Venez accompagné ou en solo, toutes les nationalités sont les bienvenues !
Rendez-vous le dimanche 31 mai à 19h30 pour un apéro/pique-nique au bord de l'eau, juste en face de l'Île Saint-Louis (Quai de la Tournelle). Apportez de quoi boire et manger, et discutons ensemble de vos animés et mangas préférés ! Le temps s'annonce magnifique... du moins, on l'espère :)

📍 Accès & Comment nous trouver :
Nous serons au bord de la Seine, autour du 53 quai de la tournelle (regardez les flèches sur la carte en cliquant sur le lien). Nous aurons une superbe vue sur Notre-Dame. Pour nous repérer facilement, nous tiendrons un drapeau américain. Marchez en direction de Notre-Dame jusqu'à nous voir, et n'hésitez pas à venir nous parler !

このグループは、アニメや漫画という共通の趣味を通じて、国籍を超えたリアルな友人関係を作りたい方のためのコミュニティです。

イベントは開放的な屋外で、最大20人ほどの規模で開催します。大人数でも「誰とも話せなかった」ということがないよう、4〜6人の小さなピクニックサークル（グループ）に分かれてワイワイお喋りを楽しみます（途中でメンバーチェンジも行います！）。語学力やアニメの知識レベルは一切問いません。好きなカルチャーを通じて世界中に友達を作りませんか？

5月31日（日曜日）の19:30に、サン＝ルイ島のすぐ向かいにある川沿い（Quai de la Tournelle）でアペロ/ピクニックをしましょう！ご自身の飲み物や軽食を持ち寄って、みんなで大好きなアニメや漫画について熱く語り合いましょう！当日は素晴らしいお天気になる予定です（少なくとも、そうなることを願っています！:)）。

📍 行き方・合流方法：
川沿いの 53 quai de la tournelle 付近に集まります（リンク先の地図の矢印を参考にしてください）。ノートルダム大聖堂が綺麗に見える場所です。皆さんに見つけてもらいやすいよう、目印として「アメリカの国旗」を持っています。国旗を目指してノートルダム大聖堂の方向へ歩いてきてください。見つけたらためらわずに声をかけてくださいね！
